Well, our beloved Packers weren’t exactly “One-And-Done”, but it sure felt like it anyway. Just like last season, all the hopes and expectations of millions of Cheeseheads around the world were swiftly deflated in the Divisional Round of the 2012 Playoffs, as the Green and Gold found themselves on the wrong side of a 45-31 whipping, and it wasn’t even really that close. Metz and Shep are keeping their WAR FACES on for 2013, though, because in Titletown, EVERY SEASON IS A SUPERBOWL SEASON!
Continuing our crusade to bring The Cheeseheads to the attention of Packer Nation: If you haven’t done so yet, go. watch. The Cheeseheads. Now. Okay! I suppose with the football season over, I have some spare time to spread the love… Take me to The Cheeseheads Youtube Channel!!
Until the Draft, then… Download episode #43!
Metz and Shep dive into their thoughts about the awesome/lackluster 24-10 Wildcard win over the Vikings at Lambeau Field on Saturday, and look forward to the Divisional Round matchup in San Francisco.
Metz and Shep are thrilled to have J.D. back on the show to talk about the Packers latest victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, and a little bit about the Vikings, too. We ended up having a ton to talk about this week, and we still didn’t have time to get to everything we wanted to cover.
Metz and Shep find something to argue about on the heels of an impressive 55-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans: whether or not the O-Line is really as improved as it needs to be to face the best pass-rushing defenses in the league.
Also on the dinner table for #40: We really needed a big win like this, the Risk v.s. Reward of sitting/resting players before the playoffs, PLAYOFFS?!, and some post-season predictions. Also on-tap: shout-outs to the Packers Fan Podcast and Higher Education Records, the folks behind the great outro song “Fly Like a Cheesehead” that we’ve used in nearly every episode from #01.
Metz and Shep celebrate another great season of shutting the Bears and their fans the **** up! Wham! Bam! Thank-you Ma’am! This episode is dedicated entirely to Chris Hain of Chicago, Illinois. He is a lifelong Lombardi-era Packers fan and the FIRST listener to email us with his thoughts in our two seasons of Podcasting. Rock on, Chris! Go Pack Go!
Also on the docket for #39: Ryan Grant!!, Clay Matthews’ promising post-fooball career, Missin’ Crosby (HAS NO JOB!! in 2013 …we hope), the Special Teams controversy, Greg Jennings future with the team, shout-outs to the Packers Fan Podcast and the aforementioned listener email.

Metz and Shep are back after an unexpected bye-week! Metz is still alive after the worst loss in AR-12’s career sent him to the emergency room last Wednesday! Yes, it wasn’t because he suddenly began vomiting blood while recording the first part of #37, it was because Missin’ Crosby and the “Giant Disaster” in New York on 11-25-12 almost killed him! Thank all-that-is-holy that the Vikings weren’t such a folly, or that might have been the final nail in the coffin for Titltetown Today!
